This is horrible. Usually I don’t use this site or sign petitions but this needs to stop! I don’t like dogs that much but that doesn’t mean that I don’t care about them. Greyhounds and Whippets are the fastest dogs out there but that’s no excuse to race them to death. I’ve been hearing about this since I was young. Even as a eight or nine year old, I understood this was wrong. Why can’t these adults understand what I knew when I was a kid!? Back then I didn’t really understand how bad it was but now that I see 400 Greyhounds are killed in just one peninsula, I’m absolutely horrified!

Greyhounds and whippets are meant to be lvoed as a family dog, not killed as a race dog. Think about your dog if you’ve ever had one. Most likely, your dog either was, or is happy. It could run aorund, play with you, and take walks with you two or three times a day.That dog will naturally live to the breed’s life expectance if not longer. Now think about those dogs that know only the racecourse and die as young as three years old. Please, everyone who reads this just sign it!

Omg I don’t think you understand how many tears I’m shedding with this. Suicide is 100% preventable. Even if you have to forcefully show that person. Bless that guy. Bless him so much. The rush of adrenaline he must have felt at that moment. Lifting a person like that is not easy. Seeing someone about to jump to their death, knowing he’s one of the few who can save his life. That’s all the motivation he needed. He’s one of the few who didn’t just walk by. I’m officially inspired.
